Dear Falmouth Junior Clippers Football Families,
I would like to welcome you to the 2019 Falmouth tackle Football season. It is time to begin our preparation for the upcoming 2019 season. I know, you’ll ask “Why so early”, it just ended 2 months ago. The deadline for providing our registration numbers is in May, we also need to secure insurance and know team numbers for equipment needs. We have lowered the tuition this year to a flat fee of $175.00 dollars, no more extra fees for equipment deposits or volunteering. We still will be offering scholarships to families and will work with any family that has financial needs.
We have opened registration on our website, so please take a few minutes to complete your registration. If you wish, you may do a payment plan and just start by paying just $25.00 dollars today and pay in 4 equal payments with the last due in July, but we would really appreciate it if you could register before May. The registration link is:
For those of you who do not know me, I would like to introduce myself, I am the Tackle Director of Falmouth Youth Tackle Football, I have been part of the program since the restart in 2013. This year, our President is Mike Lord, Vice President is Will Dejesus, Treasurer is Lori Dillon, and Secretary is Michelle Drolette. In addition, Jenn Bartolomei, and Matt Rezendes round out our Tackle Board of Directors.
Falmouth Junior Clippers Football is completely run by volunteers. If you would like to help in any capacity, please reach out to me or one of the other Board Members. You may want to sit on our Board of Directors, help manage our equipment, run the concession stand, assist with fundraising, manage the apparel or be a volunteer coordinator or maybe even a coach. All of these jobs can be shared, and you’ll have an opportunity to work with some good people, and have some fun while supporting our organization. Please email email@example.com
We have made many changes for the betterment of the program and feel that this is the year all of teams will win championships and more importantly have FUN. With the upcoming possible change of leagues the problems of the past will be memories, with the proposed move we are looking at having a game schedule delivered to us in June, less travel and playing Cape and South Shore teams, a later start in August are just to name a few of the improvements you will see this year. The new Board has listen to are parents and made changes.
I would also like to ask you to spread the word about Falmouth Youth Football. I believe we have the potential to be a premier youth football programs in the State. FHS Coach Derek Almeida has been instrumental in providing instruction to all of our coaching staff on proper drills and technique. We have lead the way in adapting to the changing environment around youth sports by partnering with such programs as the USA Football Heads Up program to educate all coaches and parents in best practices and procedures. We are planning a couple of informational events for parents to demonstrate what Falmouth Football is all about, so watch for more information coming on that.
Thank You for your time, and your participation in our program. If you have any questions, always feel free to reach out to myself or any of our Board Members.
